After the event, the piece is carefully completed in my studio, preserving the emotion and atmosphere of your wedding day in a painting that will be treasured for generations.

How the Live Painting Experience Works

1. Reserve Your Date

Submit an inquiry to confirm availability. Once your wedding date is confirmed, a signed agreement and retainer secure your spot.

2. Planning Your Painting

We discuss your venue, your preferred moment — first dance, first kiss, ceremony pose, or another meaningful scene and plan the composition.

3. The Wedding Day

I arrive early to set up and begin painting the environment before your guests arrive.

4. A Guided Reference Photo

We take a quick guided reference photo of your chosen pose so you can return to celebrating.

5. Live Painting

Guests watch the painting develop as I continue working throughout the evening.

6. Studio Refinement

After the wedding, I complete the painting in my studio, refining details and atmosphere.

Choosing the Moment for Your Painting

Every wedding is unique, and the moment we capture will reflect your story.

Some couples choose a moment directly from their ceremony, while others prefer a romantic scene created specifically for the painting. During the planning stage we’ll choose the moment that will translate best into a painting.

The first kiss

A timeless choice capturing the moment you are officially married. This scene beautifully highlights the emotion of the ceremony.

A soft, elegant composition that captures the intimacy of your first dance together while surrounded by the glow of the reception atmosphere.

This option captures the full ceremony atmosphere — the couple and elements of the venue — creating a painting that reflects the scale of the moment.

A posed romantic portrait. This option allows for a beautifully balanced composition and often incorporates more of the environment.

Live wedding painting packages

Your wedding day is full of fleeting, magical moments and I’d love to capture them on canvas for you. Each painting begins live during your celebration and is later completed in my studio, where I refine details and atmosphere to create a timeless heirloom-quality artwork.

All packages include a quick, guided reference photoshoot of your chosen pose so we can get exactly the look you want.

Travel within 100 km of Timmins, Ontario, Canada is included.

A quick note: All packages focus on the bride and groom as the main subjects. Additional people, pets, or custom elements are available for the Grand Keepsake package and are quoted individually.

Because each live wedding painting requires extensive preparation, on-site painting, and detailed studio refinement, I am only able to accept a limited number of weddings each season.

Do we still need this if we already have a photographer?

Absolutely — photography and live wedding painting serve different purposes.

Your photographer captures the moments exactly as they happen throughout the day. A live painting transforms one of those meaningful moments into a hand-painted heirloom artwork that tells the story of the day in a completely different way.

Through painting, I’m able to adjust lighting, composition, and small details to create a cohesive and emotionally rich scene.

Many couples even choose a pose inspired by one of their favorite photos from the day.

Will the painting be finished at the wedding?

The painting is started live during the wedding so guests can watch the artwork come to life.

After the event, I take the painting back to my studio to refine details, adjust lighting, and complete the final composition.

Most paintings are completed within 4–8 weeks. (additional time may be needed if extra layers are required. I want your painting to be perfect, not rushed)

Can we choose the pose?

Yes! Many couples choose a meaningful moment such as the first kiss, first dance, or a romantic portrait pose. I guide you through a quick reference photo so the final painting captures the moment beautifully.

Do guests get to watch you paint?

Absolutely. Guests are welcome to stop by, watch the painting evolve, and see the artwork come to life throughout the evening.

How far do you travel?

Travel within 100 km of Timmins, Ontario, Canada is included. Additional travel can be discussed depending on the location of your venue at an additional cost.
